3. What the Service Is
Cafyroaster is a free, AI-powered tool that analyses an uploaded CV and generates a comedic critique, scores, and career tips. The Service is provided free of charge and is intended for personal, non-commercial use.
4. Important — Nature of AI Output
All content generated by this Service — including the Burn Score, Cringe Level, Employability Index, and written feedback — is produced automatically by an artificial intelligence system with no human review or moderation.
All AI-generated output is for entertainment and informational purposes only. It does not constitute professional career advice, HR assessment, recruitment feedback, or any form of qualified professional opinion.
You must not rely on any output from this Service for employment decisions, job applications, career planning, or any other consequential purpose.
The feedback personas used in this Service (Savage Sarah, Corporate Carl, Tech Bro Tyler) are entirely fictional characters created for entertainment. Their feedback does not represent the views of any real person or organisation.
5. Your Responsibilities
By using the Service, you agree to:
- Only upload a CV that belongs to you or that you have explicit permission to submit
- Not upload files containing malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to make bulk or repeated requests
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or interfere with the Service
- Not use the Service for any unlawful purpose under the laws of England and Wales
6. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and code on cafyroaster.com is owned by or licensed to Cafyroaster and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Your CV remains entirely your own. By uploading it, you grant us no ownership rights over its content. We use it solely to generate your results and then discard it.
You may share your roast results for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not sell or commercially exploit AI outputs from this Service.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cafyroaster shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: reliance on AI-generated feedback, loss of employment opportunity, or any career-related decision made based on the Service's output.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK law.
8. Changes to the Service or These Terms
We may modify or withdraw the Service at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after any changes means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
